Malaysia enter the contest as slight favourites thanks to their experienced core and strong recent record against Myanmar. However, the hosts will be motivated by home support and the fresh energy brought by Andersen’s arrival, making this a potentially difficult opening test for Tan Cheng Hoe’s side.
